Check out this video from my time speaking with college athletes. Whether you are a coach, teacher, CEO, and more.
One thing we all can agree on is that enthusiasm is crucial if you are going to find joy in your journey. Enthusiasm is essential to character development. It requires you to find joy in your life.
It requires you to match your body language to positive emotions. It requires you to look at the positive pathways in front of you. It requires you to look within.
And...it requires you to lift others up.
Whether you are dealing with someone at the grocery store or the CEO of a Fortune 500 company, enthusiasm can be shown with your body language, your facial expressions, and the words that come out of your mouth.
I believe that you are confident enough to lead by example.
I love having the opportunity to share this message with student athletes, teachers, school leaders, and more.
Who are you going to the be when the going gets tough?
Do not forgot why you are here. Take the time to learn the stories of those in which you serve. That is the foundation of unlocking unlimited potential.
Remembering WHY you became an educator or coach in the first place is critical. Reconnecting with your WHY will allow you to find joy in the journey.
Dr. Brandon Beck talks about setting S.M.A.R.T. Goals and the R.P.M. method designed by Tony Robbins. When you begin to help your students understand how to set goals they will use the RPM method to be able to consistently achieve them.
